It’s a new era for The Beacon Beat, and we needed a forward-thinking and modern logo to match. So we asked our new design team, Sophie Green and Devon Chang, to develop an innovative new look. After months of brainstorming and collaboration, we are excited to finally share this new Beat look with you, our fantastic audience. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

“I think for Devon and I it was really important to capture the energy of Beacon and New York City, without the logo feeling cliche or outdated. We approached the design with a more eclectic and colorful take, in hopes of staying true to the lively and creative spirit that so many Beacon students embody!!” — Sophie Green
